At the end of 2024 Funky Pigeon underwent a major re-brand. New pigeons and brand identity were created by VCCP, one of the biggest creative agencies in the UK.
Our role? To ensure that the launch was as successful as possible and expose the customer base to the new and exciting look for the business. We tailored an exciting launch plan to introduce the new pigeons.

Troubled by a high churn rate we executed a growth plan to turn around Funky Pigeon's falling list numbers.
To tackle the problem, we created 2 opt-in forms to capture new and returning customers. Returning customers were presented with a personalised one-click opt-in form that saw a conversion rate of 17%.

We devised a direct mail plan to improve retention rates for customers opted out of email. Segmented buyers that in previous years, we targeted the delivery of their direct mail in line with their expected purchase date.
Using personalised content and unique voucher codes resulted in a +10% increase in retention performance and a ROI of 1.6.

Experiencing poor inbox placement we reviewed Funky Pigeon's sending practices and developed a new segmentation strategy to improve performance.
Using propensity markers we developed segmentation that targeted customers most likely to buy and engage with the emails.
The result? Emails started hitting the inbox instead of junk and email revenue increased +21% YoY.
